Move over Google maps, Citymaps is here
Citymaps has launched! Now you can see what I've been working on for the past couple months. I highly suggest you drop whatever you're doing right now, grab your iPhone, and download Citymaps. It's free — so nothing should stop you.

It will become your new favorite mapp. Why? Because it's much more than just a map. Sure, it has navigational abilities and you can find where in the world you are standing. But it focuses on places rather than navigation. You can discover what's around you and where you want to go.
It's a social map — you can create and share maps. Download and follow me: @danijean to see the maps I've already created. I made a map on New York on a Budget that includes relatively cheap places. I'm also creating maps for Citymaps as well, so when you check out the Explore section and view the maps that Citymaps has....that's me. Of course, I started with Portland.
