20 things to do in your 20s

1.     Do something you regret. Learn to laugh about it.
2.     Go out with someone you don’t know well. You’re bound to have an adventure and meet more people than if you continually go out with the same group of friends.
3.     Pick a food you’ve always hated and find a way to make it delicious.
4.     Puke in public. Everyone does it at some point. Get it out of the way so you can laugh about it later.
5.     Start talking to a complete stranger. Learn their story.
6.     Go to a sit-down restaurant by yourself. Learn to enjoy a meal in solitude.
7.     Eat everything you want. Because you won’t be able to in your thirties.
8.     Live in another city.
9.     Find every open bar/free food event possible. It just doesn’t seem right after your twenties.
10. Stay up late. Drink till 4 am, eat crappy food at a diner, then watch the sunrise. Your 20-something body will be able to recover quick enough.
11. Take advantage of cheap happy hours during the week. Go to work hungover. Learn to power through. It’ll make other work days seem that much easier.
12. Don’t turn down any invites. You never know who you’ll meet or what kind of freebies you’ll score.
13. Sneak your way into an event you’re not invited to. Not on the list for fashion week? Choose another name. Now you are.
14. Do a walk of shame and own it. Even if it’s from your best friend’s place.
15. Reread a book from high school. Chances are you’ll enjoy it a lot more without the homework assignments.
16. Date someone older than you. Realize they’re not that much different from those that are the same age as you.
17. Plan for your dream job but take any job offered to you in the meantime. Work a crappy job. Work at a startup. Work from home. You’ll learn a lot more than if you were to start your career now…and stay there.
18. Live in another country for at least a month. Learn all about the culture.
19. Attend a music festival. Act ridiculous.
20.  Become rich.
