My days include eating, sleeping, and Netflix

It's been almost a week since I went into hibernation. So, what have I done? I've had a Halloween movie marathon with the roomies including Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, Halloween, and Sweeney Todd. I've watched at least 10 episodes of Gossip Girl and another 10 or so of Breaking Bad. We've made wings and brownies. I've been sleeping till about 2 pm (no lie). Oh and I've painted my nails a few times.

The subway is slowly returning to regular service but I'm providing you with the recovery map. The black dot is me and as you can see, I'm pretty much in the middle with little possibility for the subway because I need the tunnels in lower Manhattan to get there. I would still have to rely on bus (it took my roommates two hours this morning) or I could attempt to go around to northern Queens and into Manhattan but I'm expecting that would take around three hours. Oh and another lovely fact is I bought an unlimited ride month metrocard right before Sandy hit, which costs $104. I heard there's talk of extending monthly passes and I pray it comes true because that's a waste of money!
Work is still closed without word when they will reopen. My roommates are gone for a concert in Albany and while I do love them, it will be nice to have the apartment to myself. Since it feels like 90 degrees in here (the heat is cranked up and I can't do anything about it) I can walk around freely in my underwear.

Yesterday I walked to the thrift store since I desperately needed some fresh air, but there wasn't anything exciting and I'm too broke to buy anything. So I bought a 99 cent loaf of italian bread from the store and headed back home. Now, I'll get back to Netflix.
